At JAG Nebraska, we believe all young people are capable of greatness – but no one achieves it alone. That’s why we rely on our community sponsors and partners to help students overcome barriers and find success. Together we can improve the future for our youth, workforce and communities.
JAG Nebraska is an evidence-based, data-driven career and technical education program supported by United Way of the Midlands in collaboration with state agencies, participating schools and community partners. Its vision is that every young person is prepared for future success.
In the classroom and in the community, JAG Nebraska empowers students to build relationships with local employers; engage in project-based learning; develop leadership, civic and social responsibility through a student-led association; and engage in career research that will lay the foundation for job opportunities after high school graduation.
When you support JAG Nebraska, you’re not just helping shape tomorrow’s leaders. You’re also helping to develop a strong workforce, economy and communities in our state. Statistics show the positive impact that getting involved with JAG can make.

JAG Nebraska relies on partnerships with organizations that are passionate about surrounding our youths with a full circle of support that leads to student success, promotes inclusion and diversity, and builds stronger schools, businesses and communities.
Participating in JAG activities is a rewarding and beneficial experience for both students and the adults who support them. Each organization determines their level of participation. Here are some ways to get involved:
“The collaboration of our educators and generous community leaders creates a caring, compassionate and effective effort that empowers our students with the skills and values necessary to navigate the future.”
